White Oaks Horses is a branch of Oaks Farm. Our equine business began in1986 when John left the military after twelve years of service as an officer in the United States Air Force. A love for horses has always been a big part of both our lives and our children’s.

The foundation of our operation is General Johnston, our AQHA black stallion and Apache Chief Norfleet, our APHA sorrel overo stallion. They are not only breeding stallions but working horses, spending time handling our Angus and buffalo herds. Because of their value to the operation of Oaks Farm, we do not offer outside stud service.

First Five The orginal White Oaks five

Our White Oaks broodmares have been carefully selected to complement the excellent pedigrees of our stallions. We look for bloodlines with working ranch horse and rodeo timed event champions. Although our foal crops are varied in color – blacks, red roans, bays, grays, buckskins, chestnuts, blue roans, champagne dilutions, tobianos, and overos – they are consistent in conformation, athletic ability, beauty, and kind eyes.

Our goal at the White Oaks Sale Barn is to offer our customers horses they will love as much as we do.
